 as part of the USED:LIVE Tour we had the opportunity to play our show at RAMPAGE Indoor. Rampage is known for its extremely large LED productions, which for me as VJ was the perfect challenge. I completely rebuilt the existing show (which we played 2x for a sold out Ancienne Belgique weeks earlier) to specifically fit onto the super high resolution stage mapping, also incorporating the many LED cubes hanging from the ceiling with motion control. using a mix of Timecode and Live VJ operation, I was able to take full control of the massive LED stage to perform a coordinated visual experience for USED.
For CROSSOVER I have fully timecoded the visual, premapped including the roof blocks, as the track contains many switches and timed sounds, which I wanted to accurately hit.
the Lighthouse visual is fully live performed by me, and a personal favorite for its sheer intensity and mysterious visual language.
The Mistakes Visual is fully custom rendered in Unity Engine. this is the closing track of the set, so I incorporated many other elements from the show and album branding into one epic closing sequence. every piece of cover art branding I've turned into 3D Energy drinks, as the album is inspired by nightlife, and nightshop
for the second drop of Take Me, the visual is fairly simple, but exactly timed with the strokes of USED's violin, which he plays live. this timed simplicity makes for an epic scene, where the focus remains on the artist rather than the screen
